Step inside a reimagined Revelstoke landmark.
Built in 1905 for businessman Robert Howson, this heritage home has lived many lives — from The Birches to The Piano Keep and Minto Manor. Recently transformed with a vision for boutique accommodation, it’s ready for its next chapter: an elegant private residence, a retreat, or a venue for weddings and events.
Meticulously redesigned by Melanie Bernier of Monashees Design and crafted by Derek Lammie, the restoration honours Revelstoke’s history while elevating modern comfort.
-
Handcrafted stonework replicates the original foundation.
-
Locally sourced hemlock floors warm with radiant heat.
-
Each bedroom features a private ensuite with boutique-hotel finishes.
The lower level offers Revelstoke’s finest private gym, a movie & games room, and a chef’s kitchen built for interactive culinary experiences. Outside, a new gazebo welcomes summer cocktails and intimate celebrations, while wood salvaged from the original structure lives on as custom furniture.
What began in 2016 became a five-year labour of love — every detail intentional, every trade local, every finish timeless. This is more than a home; it’s a piece of Revelstoke’s story, beautifully built to last.
