In 2007, Joe relocated to Revelstoke, drawn by the big mountains, deep powder, new opportunities and welcoming community. As Joe says, “The skiing, sledding and mountain biking here are as good as it gets, but the community is what makes me proud to call Revelstoke home.”
Joe has volunteered with Revelstoke Search and Rescue, the Revelstoke Adaptive Sports Program and Revelstoke Unstuck. His community involvement and avalanche-safety outreach earned him a 2014 nomination for the Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce Community Service Excellence Award. Since 2019, he has donated at least 1% of his income to local charities and recently launched Gringa’s Fund in memory of his beloved dog, helping Revelstoke seniors cover veterinary costs.
